I have the Garmin Nuvi 255W. ![]() Again, it shows its on the GPS on my computer but not when I unplug it. I have also tried dragging the 2 trip files into the San Disk card as well as the internal memory, and I tried doing this using every file extension available to me with the software I have. That does switch it into USB mode but when I click send to gps the files show that they are there but are not visible when I disconnect my garmin from the USB. I tried the trick of holding down the screen over the battery to get into the diagnostic screen then plugging it in. Now.the trip won't show up in the unit! I tried using GPSgate to detect the unit.nothing. I spent a great deal of time mapping out my roadtrip in extreme details right down to where I'm stopping for gas at what time and for how long. Can anyone give me a hand with this please? I have the Garmin Nuvi 255W. ![]()
